I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ! \- j; H9 R2 h' N7 N3 b* S& r $ @4 W% [7 i5 v( O/ D/ @: V/ g7 yand I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here ' @/ b!
